A little while ago I went to see a New Jersey band that has recently made a huge impact on the Toronto music scene. The Gaslight Anthem played a sold out Opera House just under a year ago and has since taken over the radio airwaves, this time around they may not have sold out but they did have the larger Kool Haus packed full of screaming fans from what looked like some 14 year olds up front mashed against the barrier to people easily in their fifties relaxing in the back. I was actually a little surprised with the turnout considering it was on a Tuesday night and they didn’t hit the stage until 10:30 and played well past midnight. Enough of my ramblings, here are some photos from that night.
